George and Oleg were amazing! They were able to help me move my apartment in La Mesa to a storage unit in national city in a little under 4 hours; including packing and protecting many of my items! These are literally the BEST movers I have EVER HAD! They moved me in the middle of a bomb cyclone to a mid-rise on the 4th floor while one of our elevators was broken....in pounding rain! And they did it with such professionalism and class. My furniture was well taken care of and I couldn't have asked for better movers. I am actually writing a review because I just called them so that they can move my parents...to the same place. LOL poor guys. It's a rough move but they are the ONLY ones I trust with our moves. Don't hesitate to call them. You won't be sorry!

Just want to give a shout out to Cali Movers. I had a short turnaround time I wanted to move. Spoke with Dave the night before I wanted to be out. He was patient, understanding, professional and assured me they had movers available the next morning!! Thanks for staying late and calling dispatch to help get me set up, Dave! The quote was the best I had received after talking with several other moving companies.The two men they sent for the job were friendly and professional. They were all business and had the items wrapped and truck loaded and ready to go in no time. Same with unloading and stacking my items neatly where I had asked them to go. They were awesome! This guys surprised us!To start, the whole booking process was so quick and easy. We found Cali Moving and Storage on google, submitted a quote request and received the call from them literally in couple of minutes. They sounded like they really know what they are talking about, covered all the questions, explained all the details and regulations of CA, offered a great price. After we scheduled they still stayed on contact, sent couple emailed and confirmed our move the day before the big day.On the day of the move the crew lead called us 20 minutes prior to let us know the crew is on their way.Showed up on time.We filled some paperwork, while the team was all in already, they’ve disassembled the beds, wrapped the mattresses, couch, dressers, night stands, packed the TV in the special box, helped us to pack the kitchen and miscellaneous. After everything was on the truck (the truck was huge by the way, they explained it’s always a large 26 footer to make sure everything can fit), they made us go on the inspection to check if the place is empty and we are ready to go (thanks god they did it, cause we forgot to show them one of the closets).At the new place, they’ve started to unload everything with even more enthusiasm, no one seemed to be even tired after 4 hours of loading.They were confirming where exactly do we want our stuff at the new place, moving the furniture around to make sure it’s exactly where we want, put the boxes in the right rooms and reassembled our beds.We did not want them to unpack the boxes, but they offered.After everything was done, they walked the place one more time to confirm everything is just the way we wanted, then they literally made us go check the truck is empty and the job is done.Great, hardworking, polite and friendly movers (we tipped them, which was very appreciated btw, they did not take it as given).Such a great experience, I wish we knew years and years ago about such a service, which makes the moving process so stressless, painless and smooth.I believe they are the best movers in San Diego, never will move by myself again.Highly recommend to everyone!Thank you so much, Cali Moving and Storage team, each of you made this move such an easy thing.

We’ve hired Cali Moving Team to help us move couple of appliances into our repair shop for one of our clients. They showed up on scheduled day and time, with large box truck with the Liftgate (it was very important for us), brought appliance heavy duty dolly, wrapped everything with blankets for protection and too it to our warehouse. Couple days later, we called them again and they were able to accommodate last minute same day service. Both times we’ve got a great deal for moving service. Cali Moving helped my family a couple of weeks ago with the move from San Diego to El Cajon, relatively small move, just a 2 bedroom apartment, and they were done in just under 5 hours. Worked hard during the whole time, no breaks, no smokes, very professional. No doubt the best moving company in San Diego. From the very beginning when we got a quote over FaceTime to the very end when they closed the truck to leave, Cali Moving went above and beyond to make our move from Northern California to San Diego completely seamless.Tyrece and Randy were detailed, careful, personable and so efficient. And not just that, they made an otherwise annoying process really fun! When moving items, they were fast (but not too fast!) and were so concerned about doing things the right way. They frequently came and asked me if something they had just done was to my satisfaction and if it wasn’t they fixed it without any issue. I really appreciated them and they worked great as a team. There were also additional workers who helped them who were very good, too.

Great experience. Two men showed up on time, worked tirelessly, packed the truck securely, and were friendly. They packed and were on the road in 2 hours, then drove 3 hours and unloaded into a storage unit, in the rain. Made a 2nd drop off at an assisted living facility.Highly recommend this company.

This guys moved us couple of years ago and I’m so glad I was able to find their contacts and hire them again, the best moving company in San Diego . Different crew showed up, but same approach, very fast and hardworking. We moved by ourselves and with help of our family in the past.This time my husband wasn’t at home and I had to hire a moving company. I would never expect the moving process to be so fast and simple. Couple of hours of loading and couple of ours for unloading instead of 2 days move which I was used to. Nothing was broken, no need to move boxes or cloth in my car, all fitted in the truck (huge truck they brought), no back and force as usual for me. Just great. So happy with Cali Moving crew. You can see they are professional movers within minute. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Will recommend to all of my friends.

Huge shout out to the sales team and management.Michael and Dave made the arrangements, were able to accommodate all the changes during our escrow and the whole process.It was a very complicated move for our family, but the Cali Moving & Storage crew made it easy and smooth. Best movers that we’ve hired so far. A lot of free blankets and other packaging materials, they brought around 25 wardrobe boxes for clothes, which simplified our move big time.The crew went above and beyond to make this process stress free as much as we possibly could have hoped for. Truck is huge, we had to do 2 trips, but were afraid even more, but the way they pack the truck omg.Can’t ask for more from local movers! Will be recommended to everyone we know.

They took excellent care of everything in my house, wrapping everything top to bottom and unwrapping it at the destination so my stuff got moved without a single scratch . This guys’ve done a great job!Confirmed with me the day before all the details, called with eta about 25 min prior on the big day, showed up and performed professionally.They knew how to take apart our beds, how to wrap not only furniture, but also fragile stuff. The crew worked efficiently - one guy was packing the truck, another was wrapping the furniture, two others were bringing the boxes and everything else from the house onto the truck. It was a long and hot day, but the unloading went just as smooth as the beginning of the move. I can’t thank enough the crew and the sales-guy who talked me into booking with Cali.Definitely worth every penny spent. I hope I’m not moving anytime soon, but I know my back is covered for the future moves of mine, my friends and family.

Very satisfied with my recent move. What would’ve taken my boyfriend and I at least 6 hours and the cost of the truck was done by 2 guys in exactly 3 hrs. Reasonable prices, efficient service, and so much stress off of myself. My first correspondence was with Dave and he made all of the details clear and followed up after our initial call. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! Three guys came to do our move. The driver who was the supervisor took a 20 minute break after two hours and proceeded to get high (pot). When he came back, he was extremely slow and spacey. The 8 minute drive took them 45 minutes. They stopped for lunch, which is fine, however only wanted to take 15 minutes off the total as well as wanted t charge me for the first 20 minute break. When he got to the new apartment, again he smelled of pot, glossy and red eyes. Again, moved very slowly. When I spoke to the general manager and advised him his driver was getting high on the job, his comment to me was "how do you know he was smoking pot? Were you smoking with him?"He then asked me if him getting high affected the job at all. He was not concerned that not only was his employee was getting on the job and then driving a large truck. When the general manager advised he will take the breaks off and called the driver (the stoned one) and advised him, driver got upset and started cussing on the phone. I have never experienced such poor professionalism, not only from the driver, but from the so called general manager. On a positive note, the other two workers were amazing and professional. Again, do not use this unprofessional company. There are several moving companies out there. This is not the one to use!

I hired this company to move my things sense i was on disablity with an injury. It was a small move and short distance, iv done it myself with two friends and two pickups without any damage. Well thats not what happened. They took it as treat my things like they dont matter. My wooden furniture was slidden across assfault without even a blanket. They were chipped and severely damaged. When i called in about it he argued with me and we went in circles. Finally he tells me hell pay for the damage how the insurance would pay which is by weight, estimated they both weighed 80 pounds ran some numbers and sent a check that took two weeks to get for a lousy $100. I did some homework found they weighed twice as much nonetheless he wound not pay anymore rather threatened to stop the check. In the end its going to cost me $1000 dollars to replace the items they damaged. Nice job guys! They are lucky i don't have the time or money or I’d sue them. They are not a professional operation, just an investor that hires the cheapest possible labor, guys that are young and don't know the first thing about moving. They told me they are told to do 2-3 moves a day, no wander they damage everything they touch. Please do yourself a favor and find another mover, these guys are no good, and cost me dearly!

I used this company on 1/30/21. I wish I had gone a different route, but hindsight is 20/20. Let's start with the fact they were late and not to mention the excessive smoke breaks. They wrapped things that didn't need to be. To run up the clock. They scratched my dining room table (that was one of the few things not wrapped) go figure. They lost the glass to my patio table needless to say I won't be using them again. I expected more than what I got for $1000. Save yourself a headache and use another company...

I used cali moving and storage for a move from San Diego to the Sacramento area. Alena helped me get set up on the phone and gave me a quote of half the price of another company with a certain number on their crew and a vehicle in their name. She was helpful and answered all of my questions, and helped me get ready for my move.Day of the move, I was packed and waiting, and Vadim and crew had my belongings packed in about two and a half hours. They met us the next morning at the new house and had the house ready for unpacking in about an hour and a half.These guys made our big move so easy that we can’t say thank you enough.

Best and easiest move ever!! Randy and Tyrese showed up ready to go. They were very professional and courteous from the initial meeting. They took good care of our furniture and belongings. They made us feel comfortable and confident that everything would arrive in the condition it left our home in and it did, nothing was broken or damaged!!. They also took incredible care to remove a high end wall mounted TV and packed it up safely and securely for the move. They allowed us to use a box of theirs and helped us pack some loose items to streamline our move even more. These guys are the BEST! if we ever move again we will definitely use them again. Was reluctant to use this service after reading some reviews and knowing they charge more than competitors.The service was great, I moved from a 2 bedroom apartment (second floor) to a 2-sorry house less than 10 miles. The movers were quick but careful and very informative. I only had them move furniture, which took 3 1/2 hours total including disassembly and re-installation.Would have given 5 starts but I found out they had filled my entire yard waste trash can with the plastic wrap they used from the trip. These trash bins are color-coded and industry standRd from city to city, not sure why it was thought to be okay. Personally, I think they should have taken it with them and discarded back at their own dumpster. Minus a star for placing it in a yard waste bin that’s strictly for composition-type material, not plastic.

After having the worst moving experience with two men and a truck, Cali moving and storage was 100000x better. Mike, the dispatcher was responsive and communicated with me up until the day of the moving. Because they were so busy due to the July 4th weekend, Mike himself came to move (along with another mover). They were very careful with our things and moved from the pods to our apartment on the 3rd floor. It was night and day compared to two men and a truck. Also, it was a lot cheaper too! I highly recommend Cali Moving and Storage and would use them again in a heartbeat!

I used this company twice to move from San Diego to Independence Ca. They did not balk at the remote location up 395. I had many oak antiques, Hoosiers, China cabinets, glass Tiffany lamps, antique dishes and even two fruit trees! Both trips they did the same day. NOTHING BROKE OR CHIPPED!! Alex and his team are talented packers and know what they are doing! Super Fast too! Very hard working! That is why I asked them to move my second load several months later. I was told that it's hard to find good movers as I researched companies before my move. I am glad that I decided on Cali Moving and Storage. Michael listened to my concerns and made recommendations then reserved the date and time quickly. Best moving company I’ve ever used! Michael was extremely responsive, kind, and very accommodating to my rescheduling requests. Alex, Sean, and Sergio took great care in wrapping each piece and worked so well as a team. Their speed was consistent for the entire move (almost 9 hours - we moved an hour away) and I think what I appreciated most of all was their professionalism. I called about 8 places and they had the best price. I have zero complaints and I would HIGHLY recommend Cali Moving

I was impressed by these guys. Last time I moved with another company it was a disaster. Guys from Cali Moving did a really impressive job. Fast and professional. Wrapped everything that was important for me to stay safe. So, nothing was damaged and rate was the best.

It was my first professional moving experience. It went really smooth as guys are actually professionals. The estimate was 5 hours and that is exactly how Iong it took. It is great that over the phone they didn't underestimate as other companies did just to get me on board. My business partner used Cali Moving recently as well and was happy about his experience as well

They charged me for 7.5 hours to move a 1 bedroom apartment. They moved just the furniture (2 queen beds, 2 desks, 1 couch, 1 Tv desk with TV, few chairs) and few boxes that I had packed. I had lots of other miscellaneous stuff that I did not let them move because they (2 men) were moving at a snails pace. They showed up at my place at 9:55 AM and gave me the receipt at 4:30 PM. That is 6 hours and 35 minutes which is itself too long to move a 1 bed apartment. The guy charged me from 9:45 AM to 4:45 PM which was not right. Even though I disagree with this, this adds up to just 7 hours. They added another half an hour extra for the 5 minute drive between the two apartments in the same community. They themselves claim that they were with me from 9:45 AM to 4:45 PM which is 7 hours. Shouldn't the 5 minute drive be included within these 7 hours?! I dont understand their concept of time. They claim that they can add the extra half an hour in accordance to California state law. I find this very unfair. When I questioned all of this and asked to speak with their boss, I was told by the mover that their boss (Mike) is not a nice guy and he will get rough with me. He suggested that I don't make the call for my own good. I still tried calling the owner but he did not take the call. This was a total rip off. The two men were dawdling deliberately and overcharged me.

This was my first time when I saw every single furniture item being wrapped up. It was quite impressive. Reasonable price, short notice, quick move, and flexibility - these are the main points for making a decision to hire this company. Moving from a one floor to a three floors building is not an easy task, I got to tell you, but this company never complained. Great job!

Best guys ever! Movers are real pros in this company. Thanks for your help moving my heavy stuff and fragile collection of statues. I was really nervous that something would be broken but everything went really well. I'll definitely hire you again next time, thanks

All ima say is my furniture wasn’t beat up last time I looked at it. And now it’s all scratched up and chipped. Like cmon a $2,000.00 dollar set all messed up.
